Car bonnet  with photovoltaic cells

Creation for NLPE (Event association) of a composite over hood for a MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER PHV with integration in the bonnet of photovoltaic cells. The modules are designed to adopt the shape of the bonnet.

The car is meant to be an opening rally car on south of France rallies and to appear on meetings about mobility as a demonstrator.

The bonnet objective is to provide an additional energy source for recharging the batteries. Moreover, some foldable modules have been added on the roof  for a deployment while stopped.

OPÉRASOL took action from the preliminary draft up to the supply of the bonnet installed on the 4x4, on the 2CA plant. Design, specification and components definition, manucturing including the cells shaping have been fully done by OPÉRASOL teams.
